NLP (Natural Language Processing) Specialist for the initial technology team in a hot SaaS company

Honeyfy is a technology company started in 2015 by two serial entrepreneurs to solve an acute problem in the market, and is well funded by top investors (institutional and private).

The company—still in stealth mode—develops an innovative technology-based SaaS platform that helps companies manage and sell more intelligently. The platform includes significant elements of text understanding and speech analytics.

We are now building our core technology team, and would like to offer a strong NLP specialist the opportunity to join the initial team.

What you will do:

• Develop approaches to “understand” text collected by our customers
• Develop or pick algorithms, tools and methodologies to analyze text to create “meaning” and business value
• Analyze our customers’ data to come up with new areas where NLP-based approaches can add value
• Work with the engineering team to take part in the product design and planning phases and help translate the product vision into a solid product that performs, scales and is easy to use for users
• Write tons of code with very little supervision, while collaborating with the other team members

What kind of person we are looking for:

• Significant experience in NLP and/or Speech Analytics (the more the better)

We are open as to the specific background you have experience with (i.e., specific sub-domains within the space) and the level of hands-on expertise, but we do think that in a start-up environment, an ability to cover as many aspects as possible increases the ability of the new team member to succeed.
